  • My presentation will cover the technical work involved in processing spatial data for use within a 000 dispatch environment.

    The Emergency Services Telecommunications Authority (ESTA) was established as a statutory authority on 1 July, 2005, under the Emergency Services Telecommunications Authority Act. ESTA has the clear statutory duty and responsibility for the provision of multi-agency emergency services communications across Victoria.

    ESTA currently provides services to:

    Country Fire Authority (CFA);
    Ambulance Victoria (Metro);
    Metropolitan Fire Brigade (MFB);
    Victoria Police(Metro); and,
    Victoria State Emergency Service (VICSES).

    ESTA has just completed its incremental mapping project that aims to increase the time frames and data processing procedures to take more frequent feeds of the Victorian state government data VicMap and prepare it for ESTA's Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) software provided by Intergraph.
